My approach was to focus on the inherent life within the product rather than attempting to add further value.

This is achieved by exposing the intrinsic value already present in the crockery. The value is the product and its “contents”, being its weight, material, manufacturing process and other properties. Revealing these properties via a “table of contents” (each plate is different thus the information in the table is relative)…should convince the user that the product has worth embedded into it, without the need to be seduced via a potentially transient graphic application.
