Profile:

A/Prof Ralph Horne is Director of the Centre for Design, and has over 15 years experience in research on environmental assessment in the UKand Australia. Research projects since February 2005 have tended tofocus on the environmental sustainability of housing in terms of both design and social context.  Product and packaging eco-design, consumption and life cycle assessment are also a continuing theme.  He currently leads two Australian Research Council Linkage Grants entitled:‘Carbon Neutral Communities’ and ‘Lifetime affordable housing’.
